The constant monitoring of the pulse and oxygen saturation levels is one of the most important patient monitoring tasks. Often, however, cold extremities during an SpO₂ reading can lead to unreliable measuring results.

The new SafeHeat hand warmer from HSO-Solutions is a certified and safe product that replaces makeshift solutions and allows reliable saturation readings to be performed at the patient’s hands and feet. The enclosed heating pad is matched to the hand warmer in terms of size and thermal properties. To ensure proper functionality, both products must be used in combination with one another. Use of the heating pads by themselves is not allowable. The especially good fit excludes almost any possibility of slippage.

SafeHeat is a good choice for safely warming a patient’s extremities after resuscitation or circulatory centralisation to ensure the proper measurement of saturation levels.
