Optimal tube fixation

The secure attachment of tracheostomy and endotracheal tubes is of vital importance for the patient and allows doctors and the nursing staff to provide the optimal care. The tube holder systems prevent the accidental extubation or slippage of tracheostomy and endotracheal tubes. 

ETTFix One is a single-piece strap system for the secure attachment of endotracheal tubes. Thanks to its skin-friendly material, the strap is especially suited for patients with skin irritations, burn injuries or beards. A Velcro fastener prevents the tube from slipping and minimises the risk of accidental extubation. ETTFix One can be used in two diff erent ways: starting with the strap at the tube or at the back of the head. Both alternatives are equally safe. Please note, however, that the Velcro strip must always be attached directly to the tube!
