The blades of all HSO scalpels are made of Swedish stainless steel. The plastic handles are ergonomically shaped and have a metric scale. The disposable safety scalpels also have a retractable protective cover.
Before using safety scalpels for the first time, training in accordance with the MPG by a product specialist is required.
