Targeted weight shifting

The innovative design of the Blue Ankle Distractor made by HSO allows a quick and individual distraction for the arthroscopy of the ankle (articulatio talocruralis).

The leading surgeon carrying out the arthroscopy is directly connected with the Blue Ankle Distractor via a hipbelt and can individually and directly determine the tensile force on the upper ankle joint of the patient.
The distraction of the ankle joint is therefore effected through a focused weight shift by the surgeon. The non-invasive distraction system not only facilitates intraoperative control but also enables a better focused individual distraction force.
